METROTEK LIVE AT McGRUDERS DUBLIN - PADDY’S DAY 2009

ONE FOR THE ROAD

Roll up Roll up for the biggest badest Patrick’s Day party in town. The infamous McGruder’s will be opening its doors for one more memorable day of debauchery. Promoters Junction, Drop and Human music have put their heads together to gather more Djs and Bands than you could shake a stick at.

The venue we all know and loved will be opening for the last time this coming Patrick’s Day. Over the last number of years it has seen some of the biggest, maddest and atmospheric parties this city has ever witnessed. From the days of baking in the sun at Ice 9 to the insane Bank Holiday parties at Mixed Salad, McGruders has always been something a little different and unique for us all to enjoy. We all know what happens when it goes right off, so let’s see the place out with a bang.
Come on down for a Paddies day you wont forget.

FVF 007 - OUT NOW ON BEATPORT

l_89fbc36a4d7749fd934b2df45ca9af4c1

Metrotek releases three tracks this week on Dublin label FVF’s seventh release and second in their compilation series ‘Fiends & Family’. There is one Metrotek track, Couchlock, and also one solo track by each of us: Recovery by Station F and Fuori by Hoito. You can go straight to the release by following this link:  https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/159739/Fiends%20%26%20Family%20Vol.%20II

“This VA marks the beginning of a new period for the Dublin based label. This VA brings both established and new producers together on FVF. The tracks featured on FVF007 represent a spectrum of minimal techno tracks that defy the notion that minimal is dead!! These tracks are perfect tools for both warming up and playing peak time slots.

These hypnotic grooves are unrelenting…… Just a taster of the types of releases and artists FVF have lined up for 2009.”
